January 31 - June 10. No classes will be held on days when school is closed

Young gardeners will harvest food and flowers from our garden and distribute them to our school community. We will plant spring flowers and tend our worm farm compost barrels. Students will learn concepts of gardening such as succession planting, annual versus perennial plants, and how to build healthy soil. Students will also learn the Latin and folk names of the many species of plants and trees that are already part of our stewardship at Senesh. In addition, students will create collages out of leaf and plant parts to bring home.
